I woke one night with the image of a remote winter village and something beautiful descending from the sky. It had the feeling of an old fable, something innocent on the surface, but quietly terrifying underneath.

The film grew from that dream into a story about grief, longing, and the danger of surrendering your life to a beautiful illusion. It is about the kind of hope that keeps people alive, but also the kind that can trap them forever.
